Teen Nature is a meeting place for tweens and teens. Naturally Learning offers the environmental framework for meaningful activity and social engagement in a natural setting. A range of activities are on offer each session that may include; nature engagement, cooking, gymnastics, music, nature craft, gardening, art, games, woodwork, construction and other child led projects.
The session begins with a brief circle time where participants introduce themselves. Activity ideas are offered. The participants decide which activities they would like to do through the process of a democratic meeting. All participants are welcome to suggest their own ideas and are free to move between activities or engage as they wish.
There will be time during the session for lunch. Tea and coffee facilities are available.
The session concludes with a group reflection and feedback session.
